Services
We make technology, comms and impact simple.
Entremission offers technology, communications strategy, impact measurement, and coaching services to social impact organizations and leaders.
If you have a vision for social or environmental change, we can help you bring it to life.
We're all about translating vision to reality, especially when it comes to your communications strategy, digital infrastructure, and impact measurement. Our speciality is making technology and systems work for you, because it should be simple for more people to do more good.
Digital change
Engagements: 1–12 monthsDigital technology influences every aspect of social impact work. Whether you're managing an office, raising money, or engaging your community, technology is part of your organization's strategy.
We work with a range of clients, from leaders in data sharing to start-ups building their first website. First we clarify your unique needs, then we create your tech and training resources, using out-of-the-box solutions and custom tools so you always have the simplest option.
We build tech
- New or upgraded websites, custom-built or on platforms like WordPress
- Mobile apps for iOS, Android, or the web
- Custom data storage, data exchange, and data sharing solutions
We configure tech
- CRM tools like Salesforce or Little Green Light
- Email marketing systems like Mailchimp
- Analytics and digital marketing tools like Matomo, Google Analytics, and Google Ad Grants
- Online dashboards for your key indicators and progress metrics
Communications & engagement strategy
Engagements: 1–6 monthsEffective communications and engagement drive social change. Who you communicate with, and how you reach them, are key questions for every strategy. Everyone needs to listen, not just broadcast.
We work with teams to define a strategic problem or goal, gather the data and perspective needed to shape a strategy, then map out a clear course of action so everyone knows exactly what to do. Engagements can include mentoring to build your team's skills as we work together.
Questions we help you answer
- Who are you talking to? Who should you be talking to?
- Who are your funders, and what do they need to know?
- How do you reach your audience?
- Do your communications reflect your priorities and values?
- How do you explain a program, or your work in general?
- How should a program or institution adapt to meet the needs of the future?
- Does your technology meet your needs, and how might new technology help?
Impact measurement & reporting
Plans: about 1 monthImpact measurement documents the effect your work has on your community and the world around you. It helps you improve your effectiveness, save time, spend your money wisely, and help people understand the value of your work.
Measurement plans
- Define metrics relevant to your mission and community
- Map where and how to collect your impact data
- Configure tools like surveys, forms, custom fields, and spreadsheets
- Create a workplan so you know what to do, and when
Progress reports
- Collect progress and impact data for you
- Regular progress reports and project summaries
- Surveys, research, and analysis to fill the gaps
- Insights for management, boards, and strategic planning
Impact stories
- Polished evaluations and impact summaries
- Key messages, story frameworks, and copy you can remix into web content, social posts, annual reports, and funding reports
Measurement projects may be short-term, quarterly, or annual.
Coaching
Private, group, or on demandWe work with individuals and organizations to hone their leadership, communications, and fundraising abilities, so you can lead wisely, communicate effectively, and make an impact.
For organizations
Navigating transitions or building new systems is easier with a coach. In private or group sessions, we help you identify priorities and build new routines, transferring knowledge and skills so your team has more capacity to do great work.
For individuals
Executive and emerging leaders work one-on-one with Entremission's CEO, Krystyn Tully, to build skills or navigate a challenge.
Micro-coaching
A no-commitment, one-hour session whenever you need it: think out loud, practise a presentation, clarify priorities, or learn a new bit of technology. Sometimes one call is all you need.
